As Christian's is it our duty to live a healthy lifestyle? Is it our duty to eat healthy foods and workout? I've researched these questions trying to find out if we should, and I came to the conclusion that we should.

In my family we have a tradition to hide three Easter baskets [one for me, my sister and my brother]. Every morning the kids would wake up and go find the Easter baskets. So like usual, I woke up, snatched my morning coffee and looked around the house for my Easter basket. I walked into our formal living room and immediately saw a basket behind a chair. I nonchalantly walked over to the basket to see whose it was. It was mine. I grabbed the Easter basket, a little disappointed. I usually have to look all over the house to find my basket but this year it was right in front of me.
Most of us have to-do lists, and we always have things to do next. We are up and running from the a.m. to the p.m. at work, school or wherever we are during the day.
Jealousy is an emotion that you feel when you have insecurity, fear, concern or anxiety over something that you typically feel that you cannot have. Envy is a desire to have ones possessions or a desire to be someone else. So the big question here is what is the difference between Jealousy and Envy?
Example of Jealously would be if you're best friends with someone and they start to be close with someone else: you typically would be jealous of that person your friend is befriending. Example of Envy would be if your friend got a brand new car and you look at it with envy meaning that you want their possession. So why are we talking about Jealousy and Envy? We are talking about jealousy and envy because the Bible is against those two emotions. "A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones." Proverbs 14:30 "For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice." James 3:16 The reason the Bible is against jealousy and envy is if you're jealous or you have envy you are unsatisfied with what God has given you. The Bible tells us to be content with what we have. In order to prevent jealousy we need to become more like Jesus and less like our human nature. We can get to know God and be more like Him if we try to make mature choices, read the Bible, participate in Bible studies, or just hang out with other believers! We have to learn how to serve others instead or ourselves. “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2). Hello everyone! I know a lot of y'all are already in school, but it is still pretty early in the year so we can all use this advice!
Loving the people who make you upset is really hard! I know this because I struggle with this all the time. I'm not saying go out and bake them a cake with "I love you!" on it. Sometimes all you need to do is pray for them. But don't pray for them if you don't mean it, if you just pray for them so you can look good then that's doing no good. God knows when you don't mean what you're praying, you have to pray for them because you want them to be happy. That is a form of deep love because you want the people that did you wrong to be happy.
